What is PIS/Pasep?
O PIS/Pasep, previously a current tax, is now stored in the FAT (Worker Support Fund), which takes care of unemployment insurance and salary bonus benefits. Thus, Pis/Pasep raises resources for salaried workers.
The Salary Allowance, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, is an annual benefit worth a maximum of one minimum wage in effect on the date of payment, so workers will not receive double the amount in 2024.

Who is entitled to receive PIS/Pasep in 2024?
The salaried worker has the right to receive PIS/Pasep, and he must be registered for at least 5 years, have a signed contract of at least 30 days in the base year (2022) and have received, on average, up to 2 minimum wages during this period.
